Can I shower with my jewellery?
We always recommend taking jewellery off before showering. Chemicals in shampoos etc. can have adverse reaction to precious metals and can cause tarnish or effect the luster of your piece. It’s OK to shower with silver or gold-filled pieces but just be mindful of the cosmetic products you are using.
Can I wear my jewellery without taking it off?
Yes, you can wear our sterling silver and gold-filled jewellery, however, you should treat your jewellery with a little TLC to keep it looking its best for longer. We recommend taking your jewellery off when sleeping, showering and swimming, especially gold plated jewellery, that way you will prolong the life of your jewellery and keep it looking beautiful.
Why does silver tarnish?
When exposed to the air metals can experience a chemical process called oxidation. This appears as tarnish on silver. Naturally silver will tarnish over time. This is a normal process for silver and does not mean the jewellery is faulty. The good news is that you can clean tarnish from silver using a silver polishing cloth.
Exposure to chemicals can also cause tarnish to develop on silver jewellery. Avoid spraying perfume or applying sunscreen directly onto silver. If you do, remove your jewellery, clean with water and pat dry.
Is Ash Flynn Jewellery suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes! All our silver jewellery is 100% sterling silver. For our gold-plated pieces, we used 24k heavy gold plating over solid sterling silver. Our gold-filled jewellery is safe of sensitive skin. However, if you have highly sensitive skin you may want to choose solid silver or gold pieces.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Ash Flynn Jewellery pieces are made to order and therefore can take 3-6 weeks to arrive. Occasionally some pieces are made in small batches and maybe in stock so items may arrive earlier. If you need your piece by a certain date, please get in contact via email to email@example.com to see if it is possible.
Can you repair my jewellery?
Yes, if your piece develops any manufacturing faults within six months of purchase, Ash Flynn Jewellery will gladly repair the product at no cost. Items damaged as a result of general wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
If a piece shows signs of improper care or damage due to wear and tear the piece can be repaired at a cost. An estimate for the repair will be given prior to the repair and customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Please check the Returns & Refunds page for further details.

Do you offer engraving?
No, Ash Flynn Jewellery does not offer an engraving service at present. Your local jewellers may be able to offer this service to you. We would advise that you only engrave on our sterling silver jewellery and not on gold plated pieces.
